Czech Republic becomes Rolls-Royce Motors’ latest European market

Rolls-Royce Motors has announced plans to appoint the CarTec Group as an official dealer in the Czech Republic. The new dealership is to be officially named Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Prague. Work on a new showroom in one of the Czech capital’s most fashionable streets, Parížská, has already begun and the site will open officially in spring 2016.

Speaking at a press conference in Prague to announce the development, James Crichton, regional director of Rolls-Royce Motors for Europe, said: “The Czech Republic is of strategic importance to the future development of Rolls-Royce in the region, with prosperous economic development in Central and Eastern Europe.”

The UK’s ambassador to the Czech Republic, Jan Thompson, said she was delighted to welcome the luxury motor group to the country. She said: “The UK’s luxury industry shows continuously increasing levels of investment that’s helping to create jobs around the world.”

Rolls-Royce Motors is currently represented by 17 dealerships in continental Europe.
