FEDIC says 340 companies are involved in producing leather in Morocco

Moroccan tanning industry federation FEDIC has said in recent comments to local media that the leather production sector in the North African country is currently supporting 17,862 jobs directly. This workforce is spread across 340 companies.

In addition, FEDIC said in its comments that it calculates the leather these companies produce to have a collective production value of around $300 million.
