Automotive group Audi delivered 902,389 vehicles to customers in the first six months of this year, a record first-half figure.

This figures represents an increase of 3.8% year on year. Audi said its Q3 and Q5 SUV models have proved particularly popular with customers worldwide.

Revenues were up by 11.6% year on year to reach almost €29.8 billion and operating profit up by 9.1% to reach €2.9 billion.
