Colombian leather exhibition opens its doors

Colombia’s International Footwear and Leather Show (IFLS) opened its doors in Bogotá on July 28, with 500 exhibitors representing the host nation, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Venezuela and Ecuador.

Organiser, Colombian leather industry association Acicam, said Mexico had the status of focus country at the 2015 edition of IFLS and had brought 30 exhibitor companies.

Special guests among the visitors on the first day of the exhibition included Colombia’s business minister, Cecilia Álvarez, and Mexico’s ambassador to Colombia, Arnulfo Valdivia Machuca.
