Leather garment production stays steady in China

China’s leather garment production levels were flat in the first half of 2015 at 35 million pieces, an increase of just 0.5% compared to the same period in 2014.

Three provinces account for 70% of the national total leather garment output: Zhejiang produced 11.4 million pieces between January and June, Hebei province 8.6 million and Fujian 4.1 million pieces.
