Seminar series moves to Paris

27/05/2015
After a successful start in Bucharest in April,  the seminar programme ‘A Future for European Leather’ is moving to Paris. On June 19, the leather industry’s representative body to the European Commission, COTANCE, and its “social partner”, trade union organisation IndustriAll, will host the second of four conferences there, with the programme this time dedicated to the social challenges the European leather industry is likely to face in the next decade.

Participating speakers will include Xavier Royer, a specialist in skills training for the leather industry, Franck Boehly, president of the French leather industry association the Conseil National du Cuir, and Dominique Jacomet,  director general of the fashion and design body, Institut Français de la Mode.

After Paris, the programme will continue with an event in Portugal in October and one in London in December, before a wrap-up conference to discuss the findings of all four seminars in Brussels in February 2016.
