New industry event for Portugal

With Alcanena, the centre of the country’s most important tanning cluster, as the venue, ExpoPele will take place for the first time from May 1-3.
There will be a conference programme to support a theme of highlighting the levels of leather-producing and finished leathergoods expertise in Portugal.
“We have a lot of artisans and a long tradition of craftsmanship,” APIC said on announcing the new event, “and we want to make more of them.”
