Tanneries du Puy confirms senior appointment

Mr Gigante previously ran the Al Khaznah tannery in Abu Dhabi and specialised in producing camel leather. Reports at the end of February suggested he had taken up a position at the head of Tanneries du Puy.
The tannery, based in Le Puy-en-Velay in Auvergne, is a famous French leather producer, but one that has had a troubled recent past with financial problems and several changes of ownership.
