Tanner takes up prominent environmental role in Pakistan

A former chairman of the Pakistan Tanners’ Association (PTA), Gulzar Firoz, has been appointed as the new chairman of a committee for environmental affairs run by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

He said on taking up the post that he would try to work with environmental experts from all sectors to create what he called a “pollution-free” environment in Pakistan.
