Beauty and the Beast gloves part of Cocteau exhibition
Leather gloves made by Maison Fabre for the 1946 film of Beauty and the Beast are part of a new exhibition at the Coullaud & Koulinsky gallery in central Paris. The event, which runs until March 14, celebrates the wide-ranging work of poet, playwright and film-maker Jean Cocteau, who directed the film.

Called Cocteau Contemporain, the exhibition seeks to establish links between the work of artists today and Cocteau’s oeuvre.

Maison Fabre made the gloves for actor Jean Marais.
