Federal government makes millions available in credit to Guanajuato leather sector

National finance institution Nafin will offer companies in the leather sector in Guanajuato credit of more than $60 million in total.
Local industry association CICEG said it hoped its member companies would take advantage of the offer, which could give them access to affordable loans for sums of up to $300,000 each. CICEG president, Ysmael López García, said on announcing the agreement with the federal government: “This will strengthen the leather sector in Guanajuato and help our member companies to keep finding ways to add value.”
