Istanbul event discusses future of garment leather

The ninth Istanbul Leather Fair came to a successful end on November 20, the organisers have said.

Around 370 companies from 35 different countries took part, including tanners, chemical suppliers, machinery producers and finished product manufacturers.

In all, around 15,000 visitors attended over the three days of the event, with double-face from lambskin and garment nappa from sheepskin the main sources of interest.

Panel discussions were also part of the programme, with the future of garment leather around the world one of the subjects covered.
