Brazil’s beef exports up in value and in volume

Brazil’s exports rose by 9.5% in value and by 5.1% in volume in the first ten months of 2014, compared to the same period last year.

Official figures show that Brazil’s packers shipped just of 1.3 million tonnes of beef to customers overseas between January and October 2014, brining in export revenues of $6 billion.
