Cartigliano named as innovation awards finalist

Tanning machinery developer Cartigliano has been named as a finalist in the latest edition of Italy’s Imprese x Innovazione (Companies For Innovation) Awards, known as IxI.

Italian manufacturers’ association Confindustria has launched a new edition of IxI to coincide with the World Exhibition in Milan next year, Expo 2015. The awards focus on the themes of Expo 2015 (technology, innovation, culture, traditions and creativity, especially in relation to providing food and energy to the planet) and have been named in honour of Andrea Pininfarina, the engineer who ran his family’s vehicle design company until his death in 2008.

Open to all businesses that produce goods and services and have their headquarters in Italy, IxI has produced four finalists in all. Cartigliano will attend the awards ceremony in Turin in November.
