Kering names new Bottega Veneta chief executive

Six months after Marco Bizzarri took up a new role as head of couture and leathergoods for the whole of Kering, the group has named his successor as chief executive of its Bottega Veneta luxury leathergoods brands.

Mr Bizzarri said in April he would continue to oversee operations at Bottega Veneta pending the appointment of his replacement.

Italian media, including Corriere della Sera, said on October 20 that the brand’s new chief executive was Carlo Beretta, until now a director at fashion group Zegna.
