Argentina: funding programme helps leather start-up invest in new tools

Leathergoods company Nuevo Líbano buys in raw goatskins and tans and finishes them itself before adding extra value to the raw material by making finished products, which it then sells in local markets.
Company founder, Cristian Ariel Barrera, told local media he would use the funding from the provincial government to buy new tools. He said: “If we had to rely on our own resources, it would be impossible for us to find the money to invest in all the tools we need. The tools will help us improve the quality of our products.”
