The Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) has said its members were satisfied by the change in venue for the Lineapelle exhibition, which moved from Bologna to Milan for its autumn 2014 edition, taking place from September 10-12.

In total, 25 tanners from Pakistan took part, with help from the Asian country’s export promotions agency, TDAP, and from its embassy in Rome.

Over a combined exhibition space of 400 square-metres, the Pakistani participants had on display sheep, goat, cow and buffalo leather and generated orders that a PTA spokesman told leatherbiz had a value of around $15 million.
