New dawn for Lineapelle

The first ever Lineapelle exhibition to be hosted in Milan opened its doors on September 10. The event, which until now took place in Bologna, will run until September 12.

Organisers said 1,123 exhibitors had travelled to Milan to take part, representing 41 countries. Collectively, they occupy 42,000 square-metres of exhibition space.

Tanners among the exhibitors had on show finished leather collections for the autumn-winter 2015-2016 fashion season.

The last Lineapelle to take place in Bologna, the March 2014 edition, attracted slightly fewer exhibitors at 1,101. Of these, 523 were tanners.
