A tannery in Colombia has been almost completely destroyed by fire.

Workers at the facility in Ibagué, in the Tolima department in the centre of the country, were taking a break when the fire started.

Local media have said an electrical fault in a storage area was the likely cause of the fire; they did not name the tanning company affected.
