Investment group takes direct control of Bally and Jimmy Choo
German investment firm JAB Holdings has taken over the direct running of its luxury brands, which include high-end footwear brands Jimmy Choo and Bally and accessories brand Zagliani. The move, which removes responsibility for these brands from the Labelux management group, came at the start of July.

In a statement, the investment group said: “JAB management now directly oversee the iconic Jimmy Choo, Bally, Belstaff and Zagliani brands, similar to all other companies in the JAB portfolio.”

Other brands that JAB Holdings controls include beauty company Coty and coffee groups Caribou and Peet’s.

Labelux took over the running of Jimmy Choo in May 2011; it was already running Bally at that time.
