Tax rebate is an incentive for Pakistan’s leather garment exporters

Pakistan’s Leather Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PLGMEA) is in line to receive a 4% rebate on taxes if they meet export targets.

Finance minister, Ishaq Dar, appears to have agreed to include exporters of leather garments among the companies who will be eligible for a rebate if they can achieve a 10% increase year on year of the value of their exports.

A similar package is in place for exporters of textiles.
