EU leather technical secretariat to hold Edinburgh meeting

The technical secretariat that COTANCE, the leather industry’s representative body to the European Union, has formed to take part in a “green products” pilot programme, will meet in Edinburgh on June 20.

COTANCE secretary general, Gustavo Gonzalez-Quijano, said Edinburgh would be the ideal place to kick-start the technical secretariat’s work since almost all of its members will be in the city to attend the COTANCE general assembly on the same day.

“The focus will be on structuring and allocating the work in groups and setting deadlines for specific activities,” Mr Gonzalez-Quijano said ahead of the meeting.
