COTANCE announces open-session details for Edinburgh

The leather industry’s representative body in the European Union, COTANCE, has announced the programme for the open session of its annual general meeting for 2014, which will take place in Edinburgh on June 20.

After a welcome address from new COTANCE president, Jonathan Muirhead, the chairman of the Scottish Leather Group, there will be a keynote address from Dr Jean-François Aguinaga, head of the textiles, fashion, design and creative industries unit at the European Commission’s directorate general for enterprise and industry.

After this, there will be an open debate, with COTANCE secretary general, Gustavo González-Quijano, acting as moderator.

That evening, the COTANCE annual general meeting will conclude with a gala dinner in Edinburgh Castle.
