India’s CLE looks to Latin America for raw material

India’s Council for Leather Exports will send a leather sourcing delegation to Argentina and Brazil in early August.

The group will be in South America from August 4-8 to plan future imports of raw hides and skins, as well as of wet blue, crust and finished leather.

It will hold business meetings with local suppliers of hides and skins and tanners to establish relationships and to explore possibilities for joint ventures and technical collaborations in the future.
