All calm at Arlei tannery after roof collapse

An incident occurred at the Arlei tannery in Las Toscas in Santa Fe, Argentina, on April 23. Part of the roof of one of the buildings at the complex gave way while workers were carrying out repairs to it.

A number of them fell through the roof and landed in an area dedicated to the tanning production process. No one was seriously hurt, but there local media said three of the workers who fell suffered minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

Perla Kiener of the local fire service was quoted as saying that when her officers arrived at the site, the workers were clearly upset by the incident, but everything inside the building was calm.
