The brand, founded by an entrepreneur of the same name, already has more than 50 stores in Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela and Aruba. It has been selling its products in Russia since 2012 through distributors and, because business has gone well, has decided to open a store in Moscow.
Founder, Mario Hernández, said on announcing the development: “Ours are luxury products and we have to think carefully about where to open stores; we can just set up shop after shop. However, there are lots of millionaires in Russia and the country represents an amazing opportunity for us.”
The company envisages being able to open the store before the end of April. Its next overseas opening is likely to be in Miami, but not until, perhaps, the end of 2015. It has set itself the target of becoming Latin America’s first globally recognised luxury brand.
