Leathergoods exports from Vietnam achieve higher growth than shoes

Exports of shoes and leathergoods from Vietnam increased by 18%, full-year figures show, to reach $10.3 billion in revenues, with shoes accounting for $8.4 billion.

Footwear exports increased by 15% in value compared to the figure for 2012, and although the total for leathergoods was considerably lower, at $1.9 billion, growth for leathergoods was substantially higher at 26%.
