Eleven Brazilian tanning industry leaders elected to new CICB board

The Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) has elected a new board of directors for 2014-2015, with Roberto Motta da Silva of JBS Couros re-elected as president.

Gilmar Harth of Couros Bom Retiro and Emilio Bittar of Coming were elected as first and second vice-presidents respectively.

Eight other leaders in the Brazilian tanning industry have been elected as vice-presidents with responsibility for specific aspects of the market: Marcelo Seleme of Viposa for technology, Paulo Enzweiler of Peles Minuano for corporate management, Umberto Cilião Sacchelli of Apucarana Leather for the domestic market, Iedo Fuga of Fuga Couros for raw materials, Edson Vanzella Pereira de Souza of Vancouros for marketing and trade promotion, Evandro Luis Durli of Durli Couros for strategic management, Augusto Sampaio de Souza Coelho of Curtume Moderno for overseas trade, and Carlos Gilberto Santos Obregon of JBS Couros for environment and sustainable development.
