French gloves seek to spread the love

Seven member glove-makers will take part in the exercise, which will have the name G-Love. The seven companies: Gants Causse, Ganterie de Saint Junien, Lesdiguières Barnier, Agnelle, Atelier du Gantier, Georges Morand and Ganterie Lavabre Cadet, have said their aim is to promote French glove-making to the world.
They have said they intend to present their gloves as “emblems of this ancient, artisanal craft” and to show their “intense refinement”, a dozen gloves will go on show under glass domes, as though they were precious jewels.
