Turkish leathergoods and leather garments manufacturer Desa has said it hopes forays into overseas market in 2013 will enable it to record export earnings of $50 million for the year and to increase that 20% in 2014.

Under the brand name nineteenseventytwo, it has now entered the markets in Italy, Switzerland, the UK, Austria and South Korea. It chose the name because the company was founded in 1972.
