Luxury automotive brand Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced that it is once again seeking candidates for its apprenticeship programme, including people interested in becoming part of the automotive brand’s leather workshop team.

Successful applicants will join the programme in August 2014, working alongside skilled craftspeople in leather, wood, paint, engineering and assembly roles at the brand’s headquarters in Goodwood in the south of England.

The company’s apprenticeship programme was launched in 2006 to provide people aged 16-24 with the opportunity to train with Rolls-Royce. Apprenticeships last for up to four years and combine on-the-job training with study. Candidates have until the end of January to apply on the company’s website.

Chief executive, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, said on announcing the latest programme: “I am delighted to announce the start of recruitment for the 2014 apprenticeship programme. Our new apprentices will join a luxury manufacturing success story and will be ideally positioned to take advantage of the unique opportunities available at Rolls-Royce.”
