UNIC publishes Italian-English leather glossary

Italy’s tanning industry association UNIC has published an updated version of its Italian-English leather glossary, aimed at helping tanners, agents and finished leather product designers communicate more accurately with each other in both languages.

Entitled ‘Vocabulary of Leather’, the publication lists the terms in Italian and English for many aspects of the tanning process, finished leather characteristics and also commercial terms. It is accompanied by samples of different types of leather and detailed images.
