Vietnam’s leather shoe sector stages recovery

For the first 10 months of the year, the country exported $6.7 billion worth of leather shoes, 15% higher than the same time last year, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
The sector is aiming to reach $8 billion by the end of the year.
The US takes a third of exports ($2.14 billion from January to end of October), followed by the UK with $445.85 million, Belgium with $401.39 million, Germany with $338.2 million and Japan with $315.68 million.
