Pakistan: leather-sector exports decline in October

Pakistan’s leather sector earned $50.4 million from exports of leathergoods in October 2013 and a further $39.3 million from shipments of finished and semi-finished leather. The industry also recorded export earnings of $5.9 million for leather footwear.
These figures represent a combined drop of 10.2% compared to the industry’s export performance in September 2013.
