Men’s veg-tanned leathergoods brand opens boutique

27/11/2013
Paris-based leathergoods brand Bonastre has opened its own boutique in the Haut-Marais area of central Paris.

Founded two-and-a-half years ago by Fernando Bonastre, former designer of women’s accessories for Lacroix, the brand’s focus is on artisan men’s bags and small leathergoods.

Mr Bonastre sources 100% vegetable-tanned leather from Belgium and has artisan leathergoods craftspeople in the town of Ubrique in southern Spain, his home country, make his products for him.

His collections have been on sale in many big-name boutiques, including Barneys in New York and Luisa Via Roma in Rome.
