Tannery files for bankruptcy

Media in the Netherlands have quoted chairman, Herman Hulshof, as saying he has tried “everything to save the company, not to save the Hulshof name, but in the interests of the workers, the environment and the customers.”
He has said there is interest in the business, from overseas and from the local area, and that there are still possibilities for the tannery to come out of administration and continuing at least some aspects of its production.
