Brazilian packer and tanning group JBS has reported an increase of 25.1% in revenues for the third quarter of 2013, compared to the same quarter in 2012.

Its revenues for the quarter were almost $10.4 billion and it said more than 87% of the increase had come from its having grown existing business.

JBS Mercosul, which is the division that includes its tanneries, achieved revenues of $2.7 billion, growth of 35.2% compared to the same quarter last year.
