Brazilian packer group Minerva has announced the acquisition of two plants in the state of Mato Grosso.

These two plants, in the towns of Va´rzea Grande e Mirassol D’Oeste, are currently owned and run by an operator called BRF. Together they have a slaughter capacity of 2,600 head of cattle per day.
