Success in key markets secures growth for Bentley

10/10/2013
Luxury car marque Bentley has announced a 9% increase in deliveries in the nine months to the end of September (6,516 cars) against the same period last year and says it is on track to deliver double-digit growth for the full year 2013.

Bentley’s largest market, the Americas, sustained its strong growth (16%), with Europe (up 24%) and the Middle East (up 26%) also posting impressive gains, driven by sales success across all model lines; the new Flying Spur, Continental GT and Mulsanne.

In China, with the delivery of the popular Flying Spur commencing in the third quarter, 1,264 cars were delivered, a 17% decrease over last year.

Kevin Rose, Bentley’s head of marketing and aftersales, said: “Strong performance from our W12 models continued, with the Continental GT Speed and Continental GT Speed Convertible proving successful in all territories.”

The company last week announced it is opening a third showroom in France.
