Italy-based luxury goods firm Prada has opened a new store in the Sowwah Square area of Abu Dhabi. A wide selection of fashion, leathergoods, footwear and accessories is on offer at the shop.

Designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, the store covers 500 square metres. A luminous resin curtain opens to reveal the entrances, large windows, light boxes and display windows.

The interior has been split into distinct sections. The women's leathergoods zone features mirrored walls, green fabric and black marble. The leather items are displayed in luxurious crystal and polished cases with marble trays at the base.

A black marble passageway leads the way into the women's fashion and footwear zone. The display niches are cut into a green fabric wall covering, complemented by luxurious carpets, counters and Clover Leaf sofas designed by Verner Panton.

The men's collection is also presented on glass counters and in display cabinets, with beige carpet, black marble, ebony-lined walls and sophisticated sofas to complete the look.
