Young talent targeted at leathergoods giants

Gucci, leathergoods brand Bottega Veneta and shoemaker Sergio Rossi are to offer a number of new internships in a bid to boost talent within their ranks after the CEO of their parent group Kering bemoaned a lack of talent in the lower ranks.

Internships will be offered in the style and creative departments and product development divisions among others, where brands “struggle to find key people”, said François-Henri Pinault, and will be based in Italy, France or Switzerland.

Mr Pinault added: “Attracting, retaining and developing talent is a priority for Kering and its brands.”
