Pakistan: Leather exports slow in August

Exports from the Pakistan leather industry fell 8% in value to $101 million during August compared with the previous month.

The country exported tanned leather worth $39.6 million, finished leather worth $50.7 million and footwear with a value of $10.67 million during August, according to Pakistan's Bureau of Statistics.

Tanned leathers exports fell 10%, finished leather by 9% but footwear recorded a growth of 6% over July.
