ELPA to introduce new spraying system at Tanning Tech

Named Epocal, ELPA claims its new concept can cut production costs and improve quality.
The company has said Epocal is the result of an extensive study into spraying operations, from which it concluded that the main requirements of tanners today were to reduce over-spraying, to reduce the length of time it takes to spray a hide, and to reduce downtime and maintenance costs of the machinery.
It has claimed that Epocal meets these needs by using low atomisation pressure, software-controlled cleaning of the equipment and by involving its service engineers in the design of the new system, resulting in a machine that has the rotating distributor shaft and pipes on the outside.
