ATC celebrates 40 years in business

17/09/2013
French leather chemicals producer ATC hosted a special event on the opening day of the September edition of Le Cuir À Paris to celebrate its fortieth anniversary.

Founder, Jean-Pierre Gualino, set ATC up in Montanay, north of Lyon, in 1973 and still runs the company today with his sons Jean-Baptiste and Pierre-Antoine.

Speaking at the event in Paris, Mr Gualino paid tribute to tanners in France and beyond who have been his customers over the years, and to ATC technicians for their input in helping the company bring innovative products to market.

He said ATC still has a clear strategy today, built on four principal pillars: to be an international company, to offer the leather industry quality products, to continue to invest in research and development and to share its technical knowledge of leather-making processes.
