The creative director of high-end glove manufacturer Maison Fabre, Olivier Fabre, has said the company is preparing to launch a limited-edition glove collection inspired by Marie Antoinette.

In an interview with Vogue Mexico, Mr Fabre said the queen of France, who went to the guillotine in 1793 during the French Revolution, would be the inspiration of a new collection involving gloves and other products.
