Brazil reports beef export increase of more than 20%

Exports of beef from Brazil in the first seven months of 2013 increased year on year by 21.1% in volume to reach a total of 807,200 tonnes, official figures show.
In terms of value, beef exports in the seven-month period in 2013 were worth nearly $3.6 billion, an increase of 14.5%.
