Hyundai facing strike vote

13/08/2013
Union members at South Korean carmaker Hyundai are preparing to vote on whether they should go on strike after management failed to reach an agreement on wages and benefits.

The last time that Hyundai staff went on strike, last year, it cost the company nearly $1.5bn in lost production, reported the BBC.

The dispute comes at a time when Hyundai is already finding it tough to meet demand from key markets.
