Stahl to unveil raft of developments at ACLE

The chemical company has expanded its Mirage product offering for upgrading with a polishable version and will unveil its latest upgrading systems for nubuck and suede.
For the shoe and upholstery segments, it has responded to the increased interest in waxes and oils by developing a wider range, including a new waterproof wax, high-performance softening oils, and a compliant lanolin blend.
New topcoats will also be presented including a wide range for upholstery clients, showcasing the latest haptic and soft touch formulations.
Stahl’s Wet-End division will also present a number of developments. The Synektan product range now has new vegetable tannins for retanning of chrome leathers, and the Corilene range has added a new multi-purpose fatliquor and compact polymer.
The beamhouse range Bemanol has been extended with more sustainable solutions for soaking and liming which offer high quality and high yield but reduce the level of sulphide and nitrogen in the effluent, according to the company. There will also be a concentrated biodegradable non-ionic and nonyl phenol-free detergent on show, for use in all stages of the beamhouse process.
The ACLE takes place in Shanghai from September 4 to 6.
