Poor language skills hamper Vietnam’s footwear exports

Exports of footwear rose 4.5% to $260.1 million, but poor language skills and a lack of knowledge in trade laws, culture and international business customs hindered Vietnamese businesses, reported the VietnamNet Bridge.
Last year, two-way trade between the country and the UK reached $4.37 billion, rising 35.5% from 2011, according to the Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK.
