CLE to take Indian delegation to Bangladesh leather event

India’s Council for Leather Exports (CLE) has said it will take a delegation of tanners and finished product manufacturers to the Leathertech Bangladesh exhibition in Dhaka from October 3-5.

According to the organisation, India’s exports of leather and leathergoods to the neighbouring country has been growing at more than 5% per year since 2007. It said growth of footwear production in particular in Bangladesh means demand for components from India is strong.
